Doina Lungu

Job: Junior Associate

Doina Lungu graduated from the Faculty of Law of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iași, and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the same University.

At national level, Doina has experience in representing natural and legal persons in civil, criminal, administrative contentious, and insolvency proceedings. She contributed to the defence strategy in a high-profile criminal case, commonly referred to as the “Bank Fraud” case, and provided legal assistance in a major competition law case concerning the largest fine ever imposed by the Competition Council.

Doina has also been involved in proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights, drafting individual applications and written observations on behalf of applicants, natural and legal persons.

Doina has professional expertise in the legislative process, having contributed to the preparation of Explanatory Memoranda accompanying draft Government Decisions and draft legislation, particularly in the fields of economic regulation and labour law.
