Advancing amicable resolutions: Alina Gaja contributes to round table discussion on enhancing confirmation mechanisms for dispute settlements

On November 15, 2023, Alina Gaja, our Senior Associate and Ph.D. researcher specializing in dispute settlements, participated in a roundtable discussion, organized by the Council of Mediation and Moldova State University's Procedural Law Department.
The event, titled “Improving Mechanisms for Confirming and Executing Settlement Agreements” focused on the challenges associated with the confirmation of dispute settlements.
The event brought together representatives from the Supreme Court of Justice, the Superior Council of Magistracy and the Ministry of Justice.
On December 1st, Alina Gaja also contributed her insights to the Conference of mediators hosted at the Ministry of Justice. Her presentation centered on the procedural intricacies and challenges associated with confirming settlement agreements.
During the discussions, participants delved into various aspects regarding amicable dispute resolutions, including legislative provisions, mediator practices in resolving disputes through settlements agreements, and the court's approach regarding the requests for confirming a mediation settlement and issuing an enforceable title.
